BJP in Kerala organized a Tiranga Rally in Kottayam ahead of Independence Day to bring together party workers and supporters to the city for a public display of patriotism and national pride.
The rally was a part of the preparations for India’s 80th Independence Day that is set for August 15. During the procession, people carried the Tricolour and the town was soppy and patriotic.
Tiranga Rally is part of the programme for events that are planned across the country ahead of Independence Day. Public participation in national events is encouraged so as to convey the meaning of the national flag and to make the national flag an element of India’s solidarity and sovereignty.
