A shocking case of alleged sexual assault and criminal intimidation has come to light from Guna district, where police have arrested three individuals, including a husband, wife, and the husband’s brother. The incident reportedly took place under the jurisdiction of the Cantt Police Station.
According to police officials, the case surfaced after a young woman filed a complaint detailing repeated harassment and assault over the past few months. The accused woman, identified as Yasmeen Khan, allegedly ran a beauty parlour and offered training to young women, which she used as a pretext to approach victims.
As per the complaint, around four months ago, the victim was invited to Yasmeen’s residence under the guise of training. However, upon arrival, she found Yasmeen absent and instead encountered her husband, Sharif Khan. The victim alleged that she was sexually assaulted by him and threatened with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone.

Out of fear, the survivor reportedly remained silent for months. When she later confided in Yasmeen about the assault, the accused woman allegedly did not take the matter seriously. Instead, investigators say the victim was repeatedly called back to the house and coerced into further exploitation under threats and intimidation.
Police officials, including Superintendent of Police Hritika Vasl (name as reported), stated that the accused woman allegedly facilitated access to the victim and stood guard outside while the assaults took place, according to the complaint.
The situation escalated further when the victim was allegedly called again to the house recently and threatened that the earlier incident would be made public if she refused to comply. Upon reaching the location, she reportedly found not only the couple but also the husband’s brother present. The complaint states that an attempt was made to assault her again, leading to a struggle during which the accused man sustained injuries.
Seizing the opportunity, the victim informed her family members. As they arrived at the scene, the accused allegedly attempted to flee but were apprehended shortly thereafter.
Based on the victim’s statement, police have registered a case and taken all three accused into custody. Authorities have initiated a detailed investigation, including gathering evidence and recording statements, to establish the full extent of the alleged crimes.
Officials have emphasized that the matter is under active investigation and that further legal action will be taken based on evidence. The case highlights the importance of timely reporting and the need for vigilance against exploitation under the guise of professional or training opportunities.
