Spurned Suspect Says Body Is Slit in Drum: Madhya Pradesh Shocker. A boy was killed in a vicious kill to hide his body in a plastic drum in an unsettling incident that continues to ripple through Siddharth Nagar, Satna, Madhya Pradesh.
The boy, known as Shivraj (known as Badal), was found with his throat slit inside a locked rented room a crime allegedly stoked by a rejected proposal to marry and hatred built up between them over years.

The Discovery of the Crime. The tragic incident commenced when the boy's mother, Asha Rajak, a domestic worker, came home from her daily shifts at approximately noon. To her horror, she found the family’s home locked from the outside. At first she thought her children were out, but when she found her daughter elsewhere she realized Shivraj was gone. Frustrated at his disappearance, the family contacted Kolgawan Police.
The investigators were shocked by how gruesome the scene was when they entered the locked room. Tucked in a large blue drum and covered with many layers of dress, the lifeless body of the boy lay. A first-response forensic team was sent to the scene to collect evidence and found, in addition to the remains, that the child's throat had been slit with a sharp implement. Asha says the motivation for this horrific act was the same as a toxic obsession. She divulged to the police that Mathura had been applying constant pressure to her to marry him for a long time. “When I didn’t agree to his proposal he was abusive and threatened again,” Asha said, recounting the harassment she has faced.
