Man Arrested in Ujjain for Stealing Woman’s Undergarments, CCTV Reveals Shocking Act

A shocking and unusual incident has surfaced from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, where a 25-year-old man was arrested for repeatedly stealing a married woman’s undergarments from outside her home. The strange act was eventually caught on CCTV, leading to the suspect’s arrest.

The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Chimanganj Police Station. According to police officials, a family residing in the Dhancha Bhavan area had filed a complaint stating that clothes hung outside their house to dry were mysteriously going missing late at night.

Suspicious about the repeated incidents, the family decided to check their CCTV cameras installed outside the house. The footage revealed a young man approaching the house late at night. After ensuring that no one was around, he was seen removing the woman’s undergarments from the clothesline and quickly fleeing the scene.

Based on the CCTV evidence, police identified the accused as 25-year-old Ankit Malviya, who lived in the same neighborhood and was reportedly a neighbor of the complainant’s family. He was later detained and taken into custody for questioning.

During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed that he had developed feelings for the married woman and was obsessed with her. According to police, he admitted that his obsession drove him to steal her undergarments repeatedly.

Investigators also discovered another unusual detail during the probe the accused had tattooed the woman’s name on his chest. Police say the suspect is currently being further questioned, and legal action has been initiated against him.

The bizarre incident has left residents of the neighborhood in shock and raised concerns about safety in residential areas. Police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities in their surroundings.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and further action will be taken as per the law.
