A family dispute over loud music resulted in tragedy yesterday in Mumbai’s Vikhroli area where two people were killed and two others were wounded in a violent clash involving sharp weapons in a shared family home, police said.

According to the police, Sunil Vishwakarma, who is 40, was playing music loudly when his brothers, Surendra Vishwakarma and Suraj Vishwakarma, protested. What started as a verbal argument turned into an ugly fight between the brothers.
The investigators say Surendra and Suraj attacked Sunil and his family members with sharp-edged weapons during the fight. Sunil died at the scene before any medical assistance could arrive, according to police.
