It was only after Prateek Yadav, stepbrother of former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, spoke out and delivered a strongly worded statement regarding their marital troubles that this became known. In the post, which quickly went viral, Prateek didn’t hold back his frustration, calling Aparna a “selfish woman” and “bad soul.” “I am going to divorce this selfish woman as soon as possible.

Prateek and Aparna, who were schoolmates, tied the knot in 2011 during a high-profile ceremony, attended by major personalities like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Ambani. The couple also have a daughter together.
