The new convention centre will host large-scale international conferences, exhibitions and cultural events in Bengaluru, and will become the global centre of business tourism. In addition to the convention facilities, the mixed‑use commercial hub will have office spaces, retail outlets, hospitality zones and entertainment areas and will be an environment that can support the corporate and leisure needs.

Construction will start in 2027 and will run through 2031. The project will create significant jobs during the construction and operational phases as well as for the construction and transport and retail related industries.

Bengaluru has this project as a strategic step to enhance the city’s global status. Now that India’s technology capital will be a world class convention centre and international conferences, trade fairs and cultural events will be held in Bengaluru. The commercial hub will add to the airport’s position as an integrated business district and will help to feed the city’s rapid urban growth.

Prestige Group has emphasized its commitment to sustainable and future‑ready infrastructure. Green buildings, energy‑efficient systems and new urban design principles will be used to facilitate the project that is in line with Bengaluru’s long‑term vision of sustainable growth.

Industry experts envision that Prestige Group and BIAL’s partnership will shake up the airport’s surrounding area, creating a place that is commerce, culture and connectivity-rich. With Bengaluru’s growing global profile the convention center and commercial hub will lead to more investment and international collaborations and will be a key place to be built and developed and supported.

Finally, the ₹1,800 crore convention center and commercial hub of Prestige Group and Bengaluru Airport will be an asset to the city. The project is scheduled between 2027 and 2031 and will not only enhance Bengaluru’s infrastructure but will further cement it as an international business and cultural town.
