Born in 1993 in Bhatpar Rani, Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh, Khan Sir is Faisal Khan (also spelled Faizal Khan). He was brought up in a middle-class family; his father is a contractor and his mother is a homemaker. He has an elder brother who is an officer in the Indian Army.

Khan Sir completed his studies at Parmar Public School in Bhatpar Rani before moving to Allahabad University, where he got a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and later a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Geography. He had once tried to join the armed forces but failed to clear the physical test.
