Cocktail 2 is finally set to arrive in Bollywood in theatres with Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna and is one of the most eagerly awaited Bollywood movies of the year. The film is based on three central characters, Kunal, Diya, and Ally, played by Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, respectively. The trio's friendship, romance, heartbreak, and emotional dilemmas are at play in such a modern love triangle.
Unlike the original Cocktail, which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty, the sequel features a completely new cast while keeping in mind the formula of romance, drama, humour, and relationship problems.

The film had huge pre-release momentum and had strong bookings in several cities. Industry observers noted that urban audiences (and in particular younger moviegoers) were very much interested in the film’s sexy and romantic tone.
Cocktail 2 received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), allowing the film’s mature themes and romantic scenes to keep the same minor changes.
