The week begins with the Netflix documentary Marty, Life is Short, released May 12. The movie follows Only Murders in the Building star Martin Short’s life and personal struggles.
On May 13, Amazon Prime Video begins the hockey YA romance Off Campus with its first season. Good Omens (starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant) is ending its run with a final third season on the same day. On May 15, Lionsgate Play also launches Alice Winocour's new film Couture, in which Angelina Jolie stars as an American filmmaker in Paris for Fashion Week.
A pair of Indian dramas is hitting theatres on May 15, too. In Amazon Prime Video's seven-part series Exam, based on the story of the cheating scandal in the world of competitive entrance exams, Dushara Vijayan and Aditi Balan delve deep into the scam. And, Randeep Hooda returns to JioHotstar’s Inspector Avinash in Season II as a police officer, inspired by Uttar Pradesh’s Avinash Mishra.
And finally, Money Heist hero Berlin returns on Netflix with a new twist for the second season of his show, Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, on May 15, with a thrilling heist. And what title will you be tuning in for?
