Returning in a third season with the drama, Euphoria has returned to its audience to great effect on set once again, on April 16, 2026. After a four-year gap, the series is experiencing a resumption of its own kind of success, where it returns to the characters and powerful storytelling that have characterized its show so far. Euphoria is a Sam Levinson-created drama that's made waves due to the portrayal of teen life, its gritty, hard-hitting look at teenage depression and addiction, and the fact that many are finding the way out into relationships. Season 3 features a large shift for the characters, with a more realistic, adult character arc since they start to go from high school life into adulthood: full of growth and deeper storylines. The characters Rue, played by Zendaya who is working through her own demons in particular; Cassie, portrayed by Sydney Sweeney; and Nate, played by Jacob Elordi will return with their fans on this new season. But as their lives change, all those trials and tribulations that they meet also change. This season isn't just larger. It is a much richer one in that it captures much more emotion. It’s also worth noting that the new season is very, really exciting and has a few new faces. We’re most familiar with people like Sharon Stone and Rosalia so look for new characters and a whole new dimension to its narrative. Euphoria still pushes what TV stories can endure. Season 3 will explore emotional conflicts, the repercussions of past mistakes, the depth of emotion and the emotional and psychological content will be heavily focused and one of the most anticipated seasonal OTT releases of the season, and one of the most anticipated OTT releases of the year. Euphoria Season 3, driven by the power dynamic and rich plots set against the backdrop of intense action and impressive strong performances in this season, is sure to be one more show with what will be another one of these hit hits that will make new international reprises.

Toaster

  • Release Date: April 16, 2026
  • Where to Watch: Netflix

The dark comedy Toaster is slated to air on Netflix on April 16, 2026. Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, the film balances a strange comedy with some absurdity complete with a touch of surprise. The protagonist of the show is Ramakant (Rajkummar Rao), a miserly man in a strange way obsessed with money. The wedding is called off, and as a result, Ramakant becomes obsessed with retrieving a costly toaster he gave during the ceremony. Now it seems an ordinary project, then it gets crazy and chaotic. The story explores, through Ramakant’s ever more absurd scenarios, one’s capacity for material possessions. It’s a fun film that cleverly blends some of its most grave moments with a touch of dark humor, some of the most touching bits of suspense and guides the protagonist into murky moral waters. Along the way, for what appears to be something he never intended or expected and even not in the least, he gets involved in very serious matters that make him a character via accidental engagement in much worse things than he saw coming. And Sanya Malhotra also joins the cast who is an asset in the film. There’s some sort of bizarre pairing between the two of them, and I find myself hoping it would be very entertaining to see. Toaster’s unorthodox narrative and satirical critique of human greed and obsession are what ultimately adds to its point of difference between the works of others. It eschews traditional comedy, using darker comedy and is good fun and one in the middle which creates a comfortable time for your audience. For that reason, this film is refreshingly different than the majority of its predecessors in both entertainment and the public conversation today, with its sense of humor and wit. Toaster kicks it off well and has a new concept, which is something I personally would recommend be one of the most highly popular OTT releases this season.

Beef Season 2

  • Release Date: April 16, 2026
  • Where to Watch: Netflix

The return of *Beef* is eagerly anticipated, with Season 2 on Netflix beginning on April 16, 2026. The series, written by Lee Sung Jin, continues its unique anthology format, introducing a fresh storyline with a new cast of characters. But rather than focusing purely on a single growing conflict in its first season, Season 2 follows two lives of two couples with complex and often intense relationships. What starts as a minor tension that goes on so casually begins to grow into what will seem like minor chaos soon swells into something more severe, bringing us to these themes of ego, relationships, resentment and personal insecurities. With Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny, the show looks solid and has all of the stars who made these big screen shows look absolutely solid on and off. And they are about to provide emotional depth in the tension. And with the Korean stars Youn Yuh-jung and Song Kang-ho now in the cast (it’s a genuinely international project by international standards that’s telling the tale from countless different perspectives), the series somehow manages to be appealing globally. With biting, psychological depth, Beef is what defines a drama it shows the little battles that can reverberate through the years into life changing events. This high-octane narrative sensibility will be extended for Season 2, so its fans of character-driven plots would likely enjoy that viewing. Beef Season 2, this strong series, is going to be one of those most talked-about OTT releases with good performance over some time and a really strong, solid plot and lots of nice dialogue internationally.
