TVS Motor Company has updated its Ronin motorcycle range in India ahead of the 2026 festive season. The new Base+ version is now available; safety and convenience features have been added to Mid and Top models, and colour options are being added.
The new TVS Ronin range starts at Rs 1,42,490 ex-showroom, Delhi, and Mid and Top variants are priced at Rs 1,51,540 and Rs 1,63,640 respectively. The new motorcycles will be available from TVS dealerships across India from September 17.
New TVS Ronin Base+ gets dual-channel ABS
The main addition to the line-up is the new Base+ variant, which brings dual-channel ABS at a lower price in the Ronin range. It is priced at Rs 1,42,490 ex-showroom Delhi.
The Base+ variant is now available in two new colour options, Sunlit Yellow and Desert Mirage, and buyers can choose from those with the Ronin's existing colour palette.
Dual-channel ABS is designed to reduce the chance of wheel lock while hard braking by controlling braking pressure at both wheels. TVS already lists dual-channel ABS as part of the Ronin's braking equipment.
So the new Base+ variant offers the Ronin range a more safety-oriented entry point without changing the motorcycle’s core mechanical package.
The Ronin continues its neo-retro roadster design and 225cc engine. TVS currently specifies a peak power of 20.4 PS and maximum torque of 19.93 Nm with a five-speed gearbox.
Mid Variant gets Connected Features
The Ronin Mid also received an equipment upgrade as part of the 2026 update.
For Rs. 1,51,540 ex-showroom Delhi, the Mid now has a connected instrument cluster and a USB Type-C charging port. It is still available in Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember colours.
The connected features will make the motorcycle easier to ride on a regular basis. Type-C charging ports allow riders to charge compatible devices while on their way.
The Ronin has already been described by TVS as a motorcycle that combines retro-inspired styling with modern technology. This latest update extends that technology package without major changes to the bike’s mechanical setup.

Top Variant adds Traction Control
The Ronin Top has the most significant electronic upgrade. At Rs 1,63,640 ex-showroom Delhi it now gets a Traction Control System (TCS).
The system is meant to help curb unwanted wheelspin by controlling traction when the rear wheel loses grip. This can be especially useful when riding on slippery or low-grip surfaces.
The new Top variant is also equipped with traction control and a Type-C charging port, as well as a premium seat. It is also available in Nimbus Grey and Midnight Blue.
With the latest update, the three Ronin variants have clearer differences in features. The Base+ aims to bring dual-channel ABS to a more accessible version, Mid adds connected equipment, and Top adds more electronic rider assistance.

TVS has rolled out these changes as part of a wider festive-season update across its premium motorcycle portfolio. The company has also introduced feature and variant updates for several Apache models, and the Apache RR 310 and RTR 310 have received new Black Diamond Editions.
For the Ronin, it is primarily about extending the range of choices and adding safety and technology aspects. Dual-channel ABS on the new Base+ and traction control on the Top variant offer customers more options depending on their budget and requirements.
The TVS Ronin’s core character is the same as before, with its neo-retro looks, 225cc engine, and roadster-style design still defining the motorcycle. The 2026 update is more about safety, connectivity, convenience, and colour as TVS heads into the festive buying season.
