Ferrari has launched the Amalfi Spider in India as part of its luxury sports car portfolio with a new open-top grand tourer. The Italian supercar maker has started accepting bookings for the convertible model at a starting price of ₹4.6 crore (ex-showroom, before optional customisations).
The Amalfi Spider arrives in India just a few months after its global debut in March 2026 as a convertible version of the Ferrari Amalfi coupe. With its retractable hardtop, powerful twin-turbo V8 engine, and signature Ferrari design, the new Spider is for those who are looking for both high-powered sports cars and open-air driving.
Priced at ₹52 Lakh, higher than the Coupe
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is priced at a premium of ₹52 lakh compared to the standard Amalfi coupe, which is now around ₹4.08 crore (pre options).
The additional cost primarily reflects the engineering required for the retractable roof mechanism and structural reinforcements needed to maintain rigidity in the convertible model.
Powerful Twin-Turbo V8 Engine
The Amalfi Spider has the same powertrain as the coupe under the hood.
It is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that produces:
- 640 hp
- 760 Nm of peak torque
The engine is paired with Ferrari's 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power only to the rear wheels for a thrilling driving experience.
Performance Remains Impressive
For the Amalfi Spider, although it is 86 kg heavier than the coupe due to the retractable roof system and additional chassis reinforcement, Ferrari says the Amalfi Spider delivers impressive performance.
According to the company, the convertible can accelerate:
- 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.
- Top speed: 320 km/h
These figures make the Amalfi Spider one of the fastest luxury convertibles in India.
