Kia will launch the Kia EV3 on September 21, 2026 as its new electric vehicle model in the Philippines. The new electric crossover will bring Kia’s latest design, technology and practical driving-oriented features to the Filipino market for a small electric crossover for a new generation of people.
The launch will be part of Kia Philippines’ larger push to have more electrified vehicles in the market. It has already released the EV5 and EV9 in the Philippine market and the EV3 will give consumers a smaller option if they are looking for an electric SUV.
The EV5 and EV9 are available on Kia Philippines’s online site today but the EV3 is not yet available in the official line-up of vehicles.
Kia Philippines will present the EV3 on Sept. 21. It is based on bold style, practical range and friendly technology and is aimed at Filipino drivers and first-time EV buyers.
The Kia EV3 is a new design direction for the brand and the Star Map lighting signature is associated with Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy.
It’s a small crossover with compact proportions and it retains some design elements seen on the larger Kia electric models. Kia’s global EV3 page has some highlights like a wide panoramic display, fast charging and wireless charging.
Specifications for the Philippine market will be particularly important when the vehicle officially arrives. The Philippine-spec EV3 is expected to be offered in GL and GLS variants with a front-mounted electric motor producing 204 horsepower and 283 Nm of torque.
A 58.3 kWh battery is also expected for the local model but final market specifications should be confirmed at the official launch.
Pricing and official range figures remain among the biggest details expected from the September 21 event. Buyers will also be looking for charging capability, equipment levels, dimensions, safety technology and the availability of different exterior and interior configurations.
Kia Philippines already promotes electric mobility with its existing EV range and says its fully electric vehicles are supported by the company’s maintenance and warranty programs.
Thus, the September 21 launch could be a critical addition to Kia Philippines’ electric portfolio.
When the event starts, customers will have a better understanding of the EV3’s price, range, features and availability, and it will be easier for them to decide where the small electric crossover fits in Kia’s current Philippine EV range.
