The new-generation Duster marks a significant evolution of one of India’s most iconic SUVs. Once credited with popularizing the compact SUV segment, the Duster returns with a bold design, modern features, and advanced technology aimed at taking on rivals like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara.

In terms of pricing, the 2026 Duster is expected to span a wide range depending on variants and engine options. The base variant starts at ₹10.29 lakh, while mid-level trims are likely to fall between ₹11 lakh and ₹14 lakh. The top-end variants, especially those equipped with premium features and hybrid technology, could go up to around ₹18–19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Under the hood, the new Duster offers multiple powertrain options to suit different driving needs. These include a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a more powerful 1.3-litre turbo petrol unit, and a strong hybrid engine expected to be introduced later in 2026. These engines are designed to balance performance and fuel efficiency, with hybrid variants promising better mileage and eco-friendly driving.

The SUV stands out with a completely refreshed design and improved practicality. It features a rugged yet modern exterior with LED lighting, high ground clearance, and muscular styling. Inside, the cabin gets a major upgrade with a dual-screen setup, including a digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system with built-in Google services.

Comfort and convenience have also been enhanced significantly. The new Duster offers ventilated front seats, powered seating adjustments, panoramic sunroof, and connected car technology. Additionally, the SUV boasts a spacious interior with a boot capacity of up to 700 litres, making it ideal for families and long journeys.

Safety is another key highlight of the 2026 model. For the first time, the Duster comes equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), along with features like six airbags, electronic stability control, hill assist, and a 360-degree camera. These upgrades bring the SUV in line with modern safety standards and customer expectations.

Bookings for the new Duster are already open, and deliveries are expected to begin from April 2026, while the hybrid version is likely to arrive around the festive season later in the year.

Overall, the launch of the new Renault Duster represents a major step for Renault in India, as the company aims to regain its position in the competitive SUV market with a product that blends rugged capability, modern technology, and value for money.
