iQOO appears to be preparing for its next Z-series smartphone launch in India. After the company has quietly canceled plans to launch its next flagship, the iQOO 16, the company is now focusing on the iQOO Z11, and the company has teased the forthcoming device with its India chief to promote the upcoming device in India.
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya recently posted a teaser featuring the number 11 and very clearly indicated that the iQOO Z11 is coming to the Indian market. Although the company has not officially announced a launch date or specifications, leaks and certification listings have already painted a pretty detailed picture of what buyers can expect.
The Z11 was first introduced in China in March 2026, but the Indian version will be released with some slight refinements for the local market.
Expected iQOO Z11 Specifications
Although iQOO has been tight-lipped on the phone's hardware, recent leaks suggest the Z11 could be positioned as a premium mid-range smartphone, similar to last year's iQOO Z10.
According to a Geekbench listing and multiple tipsters, the iQOO Z11 will be:
- MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor
- Up to 12GB RAM
- Android 16 out of the box
- 6.59-inch AMOLED display
- 1.5K screen resolution
- 144Hz refresh rate
If these specifications prove accurate, the Z11 will be one of the top mobile phones with the latest technology and that will be a great deal of gaming and multimedia applications that are game-ready and perform well.
Battery life could be one of the biggest selling points of the phone.
Leaks indicate that the iQOO Z11 will likely pack a massive 7,200mAh battery, much larger than most smartphones currently available in the premium mid-range category.
The battery is also expected to support 90W wired fast charging for users so that they can charge quickly despite the larger capacity.
Expected Cameras and Durability
On photography, the Z11 is tipped to have:
50MP primary rear camera
8MP ultra-wide camera
50MP front-facing selfie camera
The device is also said to have IP68 or IP69 and therefore can withstand dust and water better.
India Launch and Expected Price
Until now, iQOO has not officially announced when the Z11 will launch in India.
However, at least some reports say the smartphone is already certified, which is usually a clear indication that an official announcement is likely to come to pass.
Pricing is also kept a secret.
Based on the leaked specifications and iQOO's previous pricing strategy for the Z series, industry watchers expect the handset to be priced between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000 in India. The expected price also factors in recent increases in component and memory costs.
It is worth noting that these figures are based on leaks and market speculation and iQOO has not confirmed either the specifications or the pricing.
What About the iQOO 16?
Interestingly, the Z11 teaser is coming with reports that iQOO has quietly dropped plans to launch the iQOO 16, its next flagship smartphone.
For now, the company has neither confirmed nor denied those reports and so the future of its flagship lineup is not clear.
