With JioGames Cloud coming to India for the first time to launch AAA games on laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs.

The subscription price is less than Rs 1000 per month and this subscription will help NVIDIA get into India’s ever-growing gaming sector.

NVIDIA GeForce Now operates games on high-performance NVIDIA servers equipped with RTX graphics cards. Users can watch gameplay live online and not on expensive gaming PCs or consoles. And we just need a fast internet to play games.

Affordable Subscription Plans

The pricing is available at an introductory price of Rs 999 per month and is not too much more expensive than buying a high-end gaming PC worth around Rs 1 lakh. Users can use RTX-powered cloud gaming, less loading time, ray tracing support in compatible games, and AI-powered DLSS for better graphics and performance.

Play Games You Own.

And GeForce Now doesn’t require users to purchase games again. Users can use their existing accounts from both Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect to stream compatible games that they already own.

This is what separates GeForce Now from subscription services that provide a separate game library.

Supported Devices

The platform can support various devices, e.g.

  1. Windows PCs
  2. macOS computers
  3. Android smartphones and tablets
  4. iPhones and iPads (using supported browsers)
  5. Smart TVs
  6. Select streaming devices

That makes it feasible for gamers to continue to progress on multiple devices without downloading big game files.

Internet Requirements

Since GeForce Now is entirely cloud streaming, speed of the internet is very important to the game. NVIDIA recommends a minimum broadband speed of about 25 Mbps for Full HD gaming, while higher broadband speed results in smoother gameplay and lower latency.

Fiber broadband or reliable 5G connections will have a good experience with users, and reliable 5G connections will have the best experience.

Why This Matters

India is one of the world’s fastest growing gaming markets as cheap smartphones, better broadband infrastructure and growing interest in esports have taken hold. However, very high prices of gaming hardware are still a hurdle to many players.

Cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce Now would be a huge help to reduce that barrier of having to play demanding PC games on devices they own.

With high-quality streaming services, RTX-based cloud servers, and libraries for existing games available in the market.

NVIDIA's launch in India is a significant step towards making premium gaming available to millions of Indian gaming fans who want their gaming performance to be high-end, and can't afford expensive hardware that would be able to provide that with a lot of high-quality gaming to play on top of it.
