The SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Examination 2026 has been revised in the wake of the recent announcement from the Commission and for thousands of applicants that the new timetable will be available for the recruitment test. The new schedule will be implemented from September 9 to September 15, 2026, instead of the existing schedule.

City Intimation Slip Released
SSC has already released the City Intimation Slip for registered candidates. The slip lists the city where the examination center has been placed and helps aspirants plan for travel on time and avoid last-minute glitches. The city slip can be accessed through the official SSC website using login credentials.
The city intimation slip contains important information like the examination city, date of examination, reporting time, shift timing and other instructions. However, it should not be considered an admit card. Candidates must download their admit cards separately after they are released.
Admit Card Update
The commission is expected to release the SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2026 a few days before the examination begins. Candidates will need to download the hall ticket from the official website and carry a printed copy along with a valid photo identification document to the examination center. Without a valid admit card, entry into the examination hall will not be allowed.
Candidates are advised to verify all details printed on the admit card, including their name, roll number, examination center, photograph and reporting time. Any discrepancies should be reported to the SSC authorities immediately.
