Long-term health and sustainable weight loss is really just about having good habits, he says.

Raj Ganpath also posted on social media and he also described six lifestyle tips that everyone should follow to have good health, fitness levels, and a healthy weight.

1. Protein In Every Meal

Protein must be a staple of every meal, Raj Ganpath says. Protein keeps muscle mass in place so you feel full longer and lower your cravings for unhealthy food. Good protein sources include eggs, chicken, fish, lentils, paneer, tofu, and Greek yogurt.

2. Strength Training

Many people practice cardio to lose weight, but Ganpath is all about strength training. Muscle building is good for metabolism so the body can burn more calories at rest, too. According to experts, strength training is recommended at least three times a week.

3. Walk More Every Day

Daily movement is just as important as structured workouts. Raj also tells me to keep moving and aim for 8,000–10,000 steps a day. Walking is good for cardiovascular health, burns calories, and is also good for overall fitness, without too much stress on the body.

4. Sleep is Non-negotiable

Lack of sleep affects hormones that are responsible for hunger and appetite and it’s difficult to manage weight. Raj says seven to eight hours of quality sleep every night is essential for recovery, energy levels, and healthy eating.

5. Stay Hydrated

Water every day is good for diet and metabolism. Water is good for not snacking because hunger is often confused with thirst. Carrying a water bottle and drinking water regularly are great ways to stay hydrated.

6. Be Consistent, Not Perfect

Raj Ganpath’s biggest lesson is that consistency is the one thing that Raj Ganpath has discovered the most has taught him most. He’s not so much into extreme diets or unrealistic workout plans, but sticking to those things will lead to long-term success.

Healthy Habits Beat Quick Fixes

Sustainable weight loss is based on a calorie deficit for good nutrition, regular exercise, enough sleep, stress management, and healthy eating habits. Fast weight loss and crash diets can be short-lived and have negative effects on people’s health.

Raj Ganpath’s six non-negotiables are a testament to the fact that fitness is not perfection but a matter of making healthier choices every day.

And if you want to lose weight, be more active and be generally better off, then these habits should guide you.
