Balakrishna Celebrates 66th Birthday with Family Tributes and NBK111 Teasers

Nandamuri Balakrishna celebrated his 66th birthday with family tributes, political camaraderie and cinematic excitement for his film NBK111. So many of the film's people came together as one.

Balakrishna, who also made his debut at the age of 14 and has since starred in more than 100 movies, was accompanied by a heartfelt message from his daughter Brahmani Nara, sister‑in‑law Nara Bhuvaneswari and nephew Rohith Nara. Political allies such as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also extended their greetings to him showing that he is a star and public servant.

The film director Gopichand Malineni, NBK111’s creative director, showed off the teasers and the beautiful chessboard-style poster that he designed for Balakrishna in the avatars of 66 of his movies to show his mastery and popularity in Telugu cinema. The poster quickly spread the word and helped to make the film’s audience so much more excited and to reinforce his ability to shine.

Balakrishna’s other roles as a Hindupur MLA and chairman of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital were also celebrated. His public service and healthcare work has earned him respect beyond the silver screen; he is also a great example of the legacy of his father, famous actor and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao.
