The couple made a statement at Udaipur airport meeting big “bride and groom-to-be” fashion goals. Rashmika dressed gracefully in an elegant grey blazer and matching trousers with a crisp white shirt, smiling as she blushed for the paparazzi. Vijay, meanwhile, dressed up in a dapper, vintage feel, wearing a twirled moustache, a white shirt, and a polished black leather jacket. They were joined by Vijay’s family, Anand Deverakonda, his brother, as well as the close-knit circle of friends who have been sent to the plush Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, which will host the celebrations.

‘Wedding of VIROSH’: A Wayward Favourite's Day

On Sunday night, the two posted on their respective Instagram handles sharing a heartfelt note that quickly went viral. They broke their silence on their journey over eight years. They took the liberty of naming their union "The Wedding of VIROSH" for love and honor of their fans. "Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves you were already there.

You gave us a name... today, with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honor," the note read. Since their initial onscreen appearance in 2018 in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, fans have applauded the stars who have cheered for the Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade stars.

The Itinerary: Close to the People: The Ritual and the Ceremony and a Grand Reception

On the wedding schedule, the couple has reportedly enforced a no-phone policy to protect their private lives but for sure, if a no-phone policy is what the couple does, the wedding schedule becomes a topic of national debate. Pre-wedding celebrations, including the Haldi, Sangeet, and Mehendi festivities, start on February 24.

The central event, however, reportedly, is an intimate, although royal event with just around 100 guests, on Thursday, February 26, 2026. After the private ceremony in Aravalli hills, the celebrations will be moved back to South India.

The couple is slated to host a star-studded reception on March 4 at the Taj Krishna, Hyderabad, that will have the crème de la crème of the Indian film industry – leading directors and co-stars from the Tollywood and Bollywood fraternities alike.
