Miss World 2026 finale will be on 5th September in Vietnam as contestants from all over the world will be there to win one of the best known crowns in international pageantry.
Team India is Nikita Porwal, who has been in the news for a long time now ahead of the big finale.
Nikita is no stranger to beauty pageants though. She got her chance to represent India when she won the title of Femina Miss India World 2024.
Although a native of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Nikita is also very good in theatre and storytelling, so that she has that confidence and stage presence.
It has been a lot of Miss World appearances and events that have focused on contestants’ personalities, skills and cultural backgrounds.
Nikita has particularly been able to incorporate aspects of Indian tradition into her international appearances.
One of the highlights was her participation in the “Dances of the World” segment. She performed on stage as a show inspired by Goddess Meenakshi and Indian cultural traditions. She got the opportunity to showcase India’s artistic legacy and competed with people from other parts of the world.
Nikita has also been a hot fashion option in the competition. Among her best looks is a dress which is inspired by the sapphire engagement ring of Princess Diana.
This royal look was very different for her pageant attire and the attention of pageant fans was really great.
This year’s Miss World competition is particularly significant as it is the organisation’s 75th anniversary.
All the contestants from all countries are present for the series of events and challenges and cultural programs before the final competition.

Nikita’s participation is another opportunity for India to take part in the country’s rich history at Miss World. India has produced so many winners over the years, e.g., Manushi Chhillar won the title in 2017. Nikita will now build on that legacy as she strives for the 2026 crown.
The finale is held on 5 September at Nha Trang, Vietnam. Indian viewers can watch the event live on JioHotstar and the broadcast will begin at 5:30 PM IST.
