Bihar government minister Ashok Choudhary and his wife, Neeta Choudhary, cast their votes in the Bankipur Assembly bypoll in Patna as polling continued amid heavy political activity and close attention on voter turnout.
Ashok Choudhary expressed confidence in the political ideology of his party and claimed that there was no real contest in the Bankipur Assembly constituency.

"We are giving strength to the ideology we stand by. There is no contest in Bankipur,” Choudhary said.
