Three people were killed and three others injured when lightning struck a group of six people in Araria, Bihar. Shanichara Bhagat, 50, Viren Bhagat, 48, and Kanhaiya Bhagat, 30, were among three people who died in a village.
According to information available, six people were struck by lightning during the incident. Three of them suffered severe burns, and one was critically injured, while the other three suffered relatively minor injuries.
After the lightning strike, locals and family members rushed the critically wounded victims to Araria Sadar Hospital immediately. The wounded people were brought to the hospital and treated as soon as possible.
But the three critically injured victims could not be saved. Dr. Deepak Kumar, the doctor on duty at Araria Sadar Hospital, conducted an initial examination and declared three of the victims dead.

Shanichara Bhagat, Viren Bhagat, and Kanhaiya Bhagat have been identified as the deceased. In the local area, the victims have left the community in shock, especially since all three of them were from the same village.
Meanwhile, the three people who suffered minor injuries are being treated at home. Their condition is not considered critical at present.
