According to preliminary information, the incident took place near the Anjaneya Temple in Yelahanka Old Town, where the pedestrian was standing by the roadside. A BMTC bus allegedly went in the direction of the road and ran over the man’s foot, leaving him with a severe injury to his right leg.
The injured pedestrian cried out in pain after the incident, and people in the vicinity immediately realized it and rushed to his aid. The man was in pain and unable to move normally because of the injury, they said.
