A part-time model and student Muskan was allegedly stabbed to death in her home in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Wednesday evening, triggering a police investigation and stepped-up security in the area. Police suspect a gym trainer known to the woman in connection with it and have launched a search operation after he allegedly went missing following the incident.
As of now, Muskan and the suspected accused, Imran, knew each other for about one-and-a-half years, Muskan’s lawyer told us. They met at a gym they both went to and have been friends all the time, he said. The investigators are now trying to figure out what sort of relationship and why the situation at Muskan’s place led to the fatal fight.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area for the time before and after the killing, officials say.
