Hubballi Murder Shock: Man Hacked to Death in Broad Daylight Near Siddeshwara Park

A shocking murder in broad daylight has sent shockwaves through Hubballi after a man was allegedly hacked to death near Siddeshwara Park in the Banashankari Layout area of Vidyanagar on Friday. A public place and in front of several people, it was a case of a man who was hacked to death and many people saw it.

According to the police preliminary report, the victim was travelling on a two-wheeler when two unidentified attackers intercepted him near the park. The attackers are supposed to have used sharp weapons during the attack, leaving the victim critically injured. The attackers fled the area shortly after the attack, before police could arrive.

The attack happened in the morning when the public was around, reported the police. The attack allegedly took place in full public view of everyone and that’s what’s so shocking about it, they said. The visiting team is in their second visit to the crime scene as detectives continue in their search for the killers and to catch them.

Police teams have been on hand to trace the two suspects, the newspaper reported. CCTV images taken in the vicinity would help to trace the attackers’ path before and after the murder.
