A tragic medical emergency took place aboard a North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) bus when a teacher suffered a suspected heart attack while travelling from Kalaburagi to Dharwad and was declared dead on board before being taken to the hospital.
The deceased is identified as Satish Marabb, a resident of Dharwad and a teacher by profession.
Medical Emergency During Journey
According to initial reports, Satish Marabb was travelling on an NWKRTC bus from Kalaburagi to Dharwad when he suddenly complained of extreme discomfort and collapsed on the journey.
Passengers on board quickly notified the driver and conductor about his condition. The bus crew quickly took the vehicle to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in Hubballi to give him emergency medical attention as soon as possible.
Efforts to Save Him Fail
When the passenger reached KIMS Hospital, doctors examined him. However, despite the quick response by bus staff and passengers, he could not be revived and was declared dead.
The initial reports are that the cause of death was a suspected heart attack, though the exact cause will be confirmed after a medical examination and other necessary procedures.

Witnesses said that co-passengers, along with the driver and conductor, acted without delay after the teacher's condition deteriorated.
