The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared results for CA final exam in May 2026. Thousands of aspiring Chartered Accountants in India are eagerly reading the news and the pass percentage for both groups is 14.07%.
Noor Singla from Patiala emerged as the national topper and secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a score of 499 out of 600 marks, 83.17%.

ICAI CA Final May 2026: Pass percentage and statistics
ICAI also released detailed statistics of the performance of candidates across different groups.
As for Group I, 54,606 candidates participated in the examination, and 6,555 of them passed the examination, a pass percentage of 12%.
For Group II, 42,573 candidates appeared and 8,725 out of 9,725 candidates passed the examination, which took the pass rate to 20.49% for Group II.
Among those who took both groups, 23,776 students took the exam and 3,345 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 14.07%.
At the same time ICAI said 7,931 candidates are now qualified as Chartered Accountants bringing a new batch of professionals to India's accounting and finance industry.

For candidate results online, candidates can just follow the steps to download them.
- Visit the official ICAI website at icai.org.
- Click on the CA Final Result May 2026 link available on the homepage.
- Enter the registration number and roll number.
- Click on the Submit button.
- The result and scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
CA Intermediate Result 2026 Date
ICAI has also announced the schedule for the CA Intermediate Examination results. The Institute said the results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination conducted in May 2026 will be declared on June 24, 2026, by evening.
The candidates will be able to access their results through the official result portal once they are published.
