There have been programs to support industry-led research, international academic partnerships, innovation hubs, and technology incubation centers that have also been good for the research landscape in India.
Experts believe that to have a world competitive scientific ecosystem will require sustained investment, institutional excellence, transparent governance, and a culture that invites curiosity and independent thinking. Building work environments where collaboration, innovation, and scientific excellence are rewarded consistently will help India retain the best minds and also bring in more international researchers.
