Lucknow recently made headlines after a young woman released a viral video claiming she was forced into a coercive relationship and physically assaulted and threatened with real consequences if she refused.
The woman said Truval Rana, who was identified in the viral video, repeatedly pressed her into an illegal relationship. She said when she fought back and refused to accept his advances she was physically assaulted and terrorized.
She said she was threatened with losing her job and also warned of dire consequences such as death threats if she refused his demands. She said in the emotional video that she has no relatives or immediate family in Lucknow and feels alone and vulnerable.
The video quickly spread across social media and attracted significant interest and calls for swift action by the public. Many social media users expressed concern over the woman’s safety and demanded a fair investigation into the allegations.
The Lucknow Police were quick to respond to the viral video and said they had taken notice of the matter. The Sushant Golf City Police Station then took action and initiated an investigation and taken legal action against the individuals involved.
Police officials have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the allegations or announced any arrests. Authorities said the investigation is under way and that all the claims made in the video will be investigated in a legal manner.
As the investigation continues, officers will record statements from the complainant, identify witnesses and collect any evidence available including digital evidence which may assist in supporting the claims. Any future action will depend on the outcome of the inquiry.

On the other hand social media has been full of talk about the case and a lot of people have asked that the complainant's safety be guaranteed while investigators investigate.
