A bizarre fraud case has been reported from Dantaramgarh in Rajasthan where a woman married a young man after developing a relationship with him and later fled from his house with ₹11 lakh in cash and gold and silver jewellery.

According to the husband's complaint, the woman developed a relationship with him before their marriage. However, after the marriage, she began demanding a gold chain from him.

And then the situation got weird when she said she wanted money for the purchase to be delivered in cash rather than to a buyer by an online payment.

Husband Brings ₹11 Lakh Cash Home

According to the complaint, the husband agreed to his wife's demand and arranged ₹11 lakh in cash.

He brought the money home and kept it inside the house.

The woman remained at the house that night, the husband said. But she collected not only the cash but also jewellery from members of his family.

The jewellery included gold and silver ornaments belonging to the man’s mother and sister.

The incident was allegedly in the early hours of the morning.

Allegedly escaped around 4 AM

According to the complaint, the woman left the house at around 4 a.m. carrying the ₹11 lakh cash and jewellery.

The family said they found out she was missing after she left along with the valuables.

The family was shocked by the incident because the woman had allegedly been living with the complainant as his wife.

The husband went to the police and filed a complaint against the woman.
