The passenger, who noticed that a red trolley bag was missing, registered a complaint via Rail Madad, the railway’s online grievance redressal system. The bag contained gold jewellery worth around ₹17 lakh and ₹2 lakh in cash, making it a high‑value loss. In a timely fashion, RPF personnel launched a search and recovered the bag from platform number 1 at Yelahanka station.
