What the Viral Video Appears to Show
According to the social-media post accompanying the footage, the video relates to a media interaction of Yogi Adityanath.

Press conferences provide journalists with an opportunity to seek clarification from public officials. If a leader does not take questions, critics can say the decision is an absence of candor, and supporters might say public officials don’t have to answer every question at every event.
The distinction is especially important when short videos are circulated without having to be fully contextualized.
Yogi has faced similar media questions before
There is historical precedent for controversy surrounding Yogi Adityanath's interaction with journalists.
In June 2017, shortly after becoming Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi held a press conference to mark 100 days of his government. NDTV reported he didn’t answer questions from journalists and later left after hearing a request from one reporter. Journalists had asked about farmer loan waivers, law and order, and vigilantism.
That earlier, independently documented episode is different from the viral video and should not be used as proof of what happened in the latest footage.
