Harry Brook has become the first captain of a full-member ICC team to score multiple T20I centuries in a calendar year. The England white-ball skipper achieved this on September 15, 2026, in the opening match of the T20I against Sri Lanka in Southampton and scored 114 runs.
Brook had already made history earlier this year when he scored his first T20I century as England captain against Pakistan at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on 24 February. His second hundred of the year came in Sri Lanka, making 2026 a landmark season for the England batsman. His first innings also put him in the rare league of leaders who have scored more than one T20I century in a year.
