Babar was able to present a cricket bat with signatures from the Pakistan team and they had a nice moment when he did to the monarch.
Images and video clips from the meeting quickly attracted attention on social media. The signed bat provided an added sporting element to the interaction between Pakistan players and the British monarch, who seemed interested in the unusual present.
Babar Azam was accompanied by his Pakistan teammates and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi for the visit. The meeting took place when Pakistan was going through a tough time on their England tour, having already fallen 0-2 behind in the three-match Test series.
