The Indian captain, who recently led the team to historic heights, was conferred with an honorary degree and presented with a commemorative cricket bat in recognition of his peerless leadership and contribution to the sport.

During the ceremony, the institution conferred an honorary degree upon Rohit Sharma, recognizing his strategic brilliance and his role in elevating Indian cricket on the international stage. In a symbolic gesture, the school also presented him with a cricket bat, celebrating his legacy as one of the game's greatest openers and captains.

Keynote Highlights: Resilience and Leadership

Addressing over 350 graduates from the PGP-TBM and PGP-Rise programs, Rohit delivered a deeply personal keynote speech. He reflected on the emotional toll of the 2023 ODI World Cup final loss, admitting that he was "completely devastated" and briefly considered his future in the sport. However, he emphasized that resilience and the ability to "reset" were what led India to the 2024 T20 World Cup victory.

About the Masters' Union Convocation
