The Grand Finale of Bigg Boss Kannada 12 has peaked, the most recent casualty in the battle for the golden trophy, the fearless Ashwini Gowda. A move that stunned the people of Karnataka, who watched and ended their lives in awe, the most unfortunate in this most extraordinary season. Ashwini Gowda has been kicked out of this grand finale and made the title for 2nd Runner-Up.

And with 112 days of fighting against players in tacticals and punishing physically, Ashwini Gowda’s destiny arrived right before the crowning piece of hardware. Dhanush Gowda (6th), Mutant Raghu (5th) and Kavya Shaiva had all left the contest several days earlier, so the contest was finally falling into an absolutely awesome Top 3 – Gilli Nata, Rakshitha Shetty and Ashwini Gowda! As host Kichcha Sudeep (always very cool with it) put it, Ashwini earned the third-highest number of votes, breaking her quest for a "prize” but at the same time turning her into one of the best performers of the season.

Ashwini Gowda entered the mix in a solo role and quickly ended up as the "Task Queen". The biggest fact was that she had always been a big contributor to the house a role she was allowed to play, one that often resulted in ugly fights, and she had the biggest loyal following. Ashwini had a clear contrast with many of her peers, who tended to defer to group dynamics. She said tearful farewell to the house with Gilli Nata and Rakshitha Shetty, who met and made the Top 2 face-off.
The Grand Finale Summary
The show finale was a blockbuster show: spectacular performances and a Sandalwood cult icon like Crazy Star Ravichandran were part of the finale. Before Ashwini’s elimination, the winner of the final was being transformed inside the house, and there was enormous suspense.

And even if Gilli Nata took home the prize (with Rakshitha Shetty as the first runner-up), Ashwini's third-place finish is still no walk in the park. She earned recognition for performing well her whole season for her grit and made it to the Top 4 with an all-time high, in BBK history with three women for the first time in the history of these titles in BBK history. Ashwini walked on stage for the last time saying, “This house has taught me patience, showed me in my life the importance of self-worth. I come away as the winner in my eyes.”
