Jaipur’s 300th anniversary is one of the main reasons the city is attracting attention. There’s history in its planned streets, its architecture and monuments, all part of Rajasthan’s royal heritage.
There are pink-coloured historic buildings in our city which it is known for that have helped to define its Pink City. High-end forts, grand palaces, traditional havelis and ornate decorative works are such a part of its architecture.
Jaipur also has a strong tradition of craftsmanship. Local markets and workshops are known for jewellery, textiles, hand-block printing and meenakari, a fine art form which paints metal surfaces with coloured enamel.
