Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition Launched With Dealer-Fitted Accessory Packs; Here's What's New

Tata Motors has introduced the Sierra Jubilee Edition celebrating the 50,000 sales of Tata Sierra in India. Instead of introducing a new generation, the carmaker has gone with dealer-fitted accessory packs that are available in Smart+, Pure and Adventure trims, giving buyers more freedom to personalize their SUV.

Unlike standard special editions with a list and price tag of features, Sierra Jubilee Edition allows customers to choose the complete accessory bundle or individual accessories based on their preference. That means the final price will vary based on the dealership and selected accessories.

What is included in the Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition?

The Smart+ Jubilee Pack enhances style and everyday convenience. It comprises front grille inserts, tailgate cladding, roof rails, semi-leatherette seat covers, a four-speaker audio system, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear parking camera.

The Pure Jubilee Pack builds on the Smart+ package by adding more premium and practical features. Along with the grille inserts and tailgate cladding, buyers also get wheel arch cladding, a parcel tray, magnetic sunshades, leatherette seat covers, a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, and front and rear dash cameras for added safety.

For those looking for a tougher appearance, the Adventure Jubilee Pack offers a different approach. It also comes with Tata's ROQ accessory kit for the Sierra to make it look more rugged and adventurous, along with a dash camera.

No fixed price for the Jubilee Packs

What is very different from a regular special edition is that the Jubilee Edition costs a premium.

Tata Motors has not announced fixed prices for any of the three accessory packs. Since all the accessories are dealer-installed, the final cost will depend on the dealership's pricing and installation charges.

The bundled packs can also be skipped, and customers can select individual accessories separately, so the package is more flexible for buyers who want only selected upgrades and not the full kit.

Should You Buy It?

Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition is aimed at customers who want to add a personal touch to their SUV but don’t want to step up to a higher trim level. Car buyers can customize the vehicle with accessories they’ll need and not pay for accessories that didn’t come with them.

The standard Tata Sierra still starts at ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Jubilee accessory packs add on top depending on the variant and dealership.

The Jubilee Edition for prospective buyers will be viewed more as a customization package than a separate model, offering greater flexibility in design, convenience, and practicality as well.
