The examination will begin on February 27 with the Kannada and Arabic papers. The English exam will be held on March 1, and regional language exams will be held on March 2. Students appearing for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, and French will write their papers on this day. Geography and Psychology will be held on March 3, and Sociology and Physics on March 4. Accountancy students will appear for their exam on March 5.

There will be no exam on March 6 due to Mahashivaratri. The exams will resume on March 8 with Chemistry, Education and Basic Mathematics papers. Economics and Geology examinations are scheduled for March 9. Students will get another break on March 10 due to Ramadan, as the schedule indicates. Candidates are advised to confirm the holiday dates and the details of the individual exams through the board and their colleges.

The exams will continue on March 11 with Hindustani Music and some vocational subject papers. Business Studies and Mathematics will be held on March 12. The Optional Kannada, Logic and Home Science exams will be held on March 13. The remainder of the timetable will be Political Science, Biology and Computer Science on March 15. Statistics and Electronics will begin on March 16 and Hindi on March 17. The last paper, History, will be taken on March 18, and the first examination session will be concluded.

KSEAB has said that the regular examination timing will be from 10 am to 1 pm. Hindustani Music and some vocational subjects will have a shorter examination duration of two hours and 15 minutes. Students should keep in mind the duration and instructions for their subjects and not assume that all papers will be done at the same time. They should examine the exam timetable for any subject-specific instructions that the board gives.

With the timetables announced, students should prepare a realistic study plan that gives sufficient time to subjects that are set to be studied early in each semester. Candidates should work on the sequence of the papers, practice previous question papers, revise the most important topics and devote enough time to subjects that require numerical solutions or more detailed written answers. Students should also check their subject combinations, examination centres, hall tickets and reporting instructions provided to their colleges.

The announcement of the final timetable is an important step in preparations for the 2026-27 Karnataka 2nd PUC exams. Students and parents should refer to the official KSEAB for any clarification, instruction or change in schedule. Checking the timetable and planning revision in advance can also assist students when preparing for the exams.
