The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the final timetable for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination 1 for the 2026-27 academic year on Thursday. As per the revised schedule released on Thursday, Class 10 board examinations will begin on March 22, 2027.
Students preparing for SSLC exams in Karnataka can refer to the subject-wise timetable to organise revision and examination preparation now. The board had earlier released a provisional timetable and sought objections and suggestions from students, parents, schools and other stakeholders. After taking feedback into consideration, the board finalised the examination schedule and published it.
The first language examination will be held on March 22. Students will appear for Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and English (among other first-language subjects). There will be no examination on March 23 and 24 so that students have a short break before the next exam. Science, Political Science, Hindustani Music and Karnataka Music examinations are on March 25. Good Friday falls on March 26, so there will be no examination on that day too. Second language examinations, English and Kannada, will be on March 27; Mathematics and Sociology will be on March 30.
The examination schedule also has breaks at the end of March and the beginning of April. There will be no examinations on 31st March and 1st April. The third language exam is on 2nd April; Economics and JTS subjects are on 3rd April and Social Science (final) on 5th April 2027. Students should check the final timetable very carefully and confirm subject combinations with their schools so that there is no confusion regarding dates of examination.
