India's ambitions in futuristic transportation have been greatly cheered when Ravi Tamta Founder and CEO of Hapida Sky Private Limited successfully tested the HAPIDA SKYNeX flying vehicle prototype in Almora, Uttarakhand.

This is the first step towards making electric personal flying vehicles available in the common man’s everyday life.

The successful flight test is the first major public milestone for Hapida Sky Private Limited. Engineers and developers will continue to improve the aircraft's performance, safety systems, battery efficiency, flight stability and control mechanisms and then move to further testing.

Personal flying vehicles could play an important role in the future of transportation if regulations, air traffic management systems and reliable safety standards are in place, the experts say.

At present, many companies are investing in electric vertical take-off and landing eVTOL aircraft and personal air mobility solutions, so in the world the field is evolving rapidly.
