Reliance Jio has added a whole lot of new 3-in-1 plans, as well as standalone Wi-Fi and TV packages. These services are all bundled, and customers can pick one or two services out as per their needs. It’s also JioFiber- and JioAirFiber-based entertainment and connectivity solutions under a single subscription.
The new JioHome 3-in-1 plans include unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi, more than 1,000 live TV channels and subscriptions to 12 OTT apps. With these plans, you could have broadband service, TV content and streaming services without an individual subscription. It is aimed at households who are looking for a digital entertainment solution that is all-in-one and not just one solution.
Among the options, the 100 Mbps 3-in-1 plan will cost ₹2,122 for two months, with the third month free of cost. This reduces the average monthly cost to around ₹707. The 30 Mbps plan will cost ₹2,222 for three months, which includes one complimentary month. As a result, the average monthly cost is around ₹555. Jio also announced that there would be another 100 GB of data within the 30 Mbps plan, which can be used for 90 days.
Both plans come with free voice calling services to complete the package. Reliance Jio also added that long-term payments can provide customers with an additional seven days of service. This is also true for subscribers who switch their plans, make advance payments of three, six, or twelve months, or migrate from prepaid to postpaid subscriptions.
Jio has also launched TV-only packages for customers who just want TV services. The ₹2,000 TV pack has a validity of five months, which will translate to an average monthly cost of ₹400. Subscribers will get more than 1,000 television channels, including more than 200 HD channels in more than 15 regional languages. A two-month TV pack is available at ₹1,000. This plan has a setup charge of ₹200, which Jio explains will be refunded by four separate coupons worth ₹50 each.
Jio has also rolled out standalone Wi-Fi packages for users who don’t need TV or OTT services. The 100 Mbps Wi-Fi-only plan is priced at ₹3,000 for five months, with a monthly cost of ₹600. The 30 Mbps plan is priced at ₹2,200 for five months, bringing the monthly cost down to approximately ₹440. Customers can also choose two-month plans priced at ₹1,500 and ₹1,100. The setup costs are ₹300 and ₹200, which will be refunded in the form of ₹50 vouchers.
Jio has also noted that all unlimited Fibre plans are subject to a fair usage policy of 3,300 GB. For JioAirFiber users, the maximum high-speed data allowance is 1,000 GB. Once these limits are exhausted, internet speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps until the next billing cycle.
JioHome has now penetrated more than 20 million homes across India, it added. In this way, it is bringing Jio to market to a wider range of customers who are looking for affordable broadband, television, and streaming services to offer a single ecosystem.
