Motorola has expanded its tablet line-up in India with the launch of the Moto Pad 70. A stunning 2.5K display, 5G connection, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor and a 10,200mAh battery are available. It is for entertainment, productivity and portability.
Moto Pad 70 starts at ₹33,999. According to the launch report, it will be available in 8GB RAM configuration and also in 128GB and 256GB variants. It will be released in India from August 15th on Flipkart, on Motorola's website and stores.
12.1-inch 2.5K display with 90Hz refresh rate
One of the major highlights of the Moto Pad 70 is its 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with 2560 × 1600 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
The panel is equipped with 800 nits brightness and covers 96% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, making it best suited for streaming, gaming and creative work. TUV Rheinland certification is also included for viewing comfort.
Motorola has tuned the tablet with quad speakers to work with Dolby Atmos for entertainment, and it is designed to provide a more immersive audio experience for watching movies, listening to music or attending video calls.
Dimensity 6400 powers the tablet
The MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor is coupled with 8GB of RAM. Storage is provided by a microSD card with capacities of up to 2TB. The tablet runs Android 16 and is 5G enabled, along with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Motorola is also focusing on productivity. The Moto Pad 70 supports Moto Pen and folio keyboard, so users can take handwritten notes, sketch, annotate documents and use the tablet for more laptop-like tasks.
AI-powered elements like AI Writing Tools, AI Notes, Circle to Search and Google Gemini are also part of the software experience.
10,200mAh battery for longer usage
The tablet packs a large 10,200mAh battery and is designed for long-term use with users streaming videos, studying or working away from a power outlet. Motorola includes fast-charging support with 68W TurboPower charging.
The Moto Pad 70 is about 6.29mm thick in Wi-Fi configuration and weighs about 530 grams, making it a fairly portable device for a 12.1-inch tablet. It is available in a PANTONE Sea Angel finish.
With its high-resolution 90Hz display, large battery, 5G support, stylus compatibility and productivity features, the Moto Pad 70 is aimed at buyers looking for a feature-rich Android tablet without moving into the highest premium price bracket.
