Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Series India Sale: Check S12 Ultra And S12+ Prices, Offers And Specs

Samsung has announced India pricing and sale details for its new flagship tablet line-up, Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+. Both premium tablets will go on sale in the country from October 7 through Samsung's online and offline stores as well as major e-commerce platforms.

The new Galaxy Tab S12 series is aimed at people looking for high-end tablets for productivity, entertainment, creative work and AI-assisted tasks. Both models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with 120Hz refresh rates, MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset, an in-box S Pen and IP68 protection.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is a premium one with a bigger 14.6-inch display, bigger battery and more camera hardware. The Tab S12+, though, has a smaller 12.6-inch screen but retains many of the flagship features found on the Ultra model.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra starts at Rs 1,49,999 in India for Wi-Fi model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Higher 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is available at Rs 1,69,999.

For customers looking for cellular connectivity, the 5G versions are priced at Rs 1,64,999 for 256GB model and Rs 1,84,999 for 512GB model.

The tablet will be available in Gray and Silver colour options. At a price of Rs. 1.5 lakh in some configurations, the Ultra is clearly aimed at consumers looking for a high-end alternative to laptops and high-end tablets.

Galaxy Tab S12+ Price In India

The Galaxy Tab S12+ starts at Rs 1,29,999 for Wi-Fi version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 512GB Wi-Fi model is available at Rs 1,49,999.

The 5G variants are priced at Rs 1,44,999 for 256GB storage and Rs 1,64,999 for 512GB storage.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ will be available in Gray and Silver like the Ultra. The lower starting price is also the easier one for the consumer who wants Samsung’s flagship tablet experience without having to go to the biggest model.

Galaxy Tab S12 Series Sale Date And Offers

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+ will go on sale in India from October 7. Samsung's online and offline retail channels as well as other major online platforms will be able to sell the tablets.

We will give customers up to Rs 5,000 bank cashback and an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 5,000. They can also get additional discounts on the tablets as well as selected Galaxy phones, wearables and accessories.

Samsung is also offering no-cost EMI options for up to 24 months which could make the high-end tablets easier to buy through monthly instalments.

For users who want a keyboard, the Pro Keyboard Cover costs Rs 27,999 for Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Rs 26,499 for Galaxy Tab S12+.

Galaxy Forever Programme Introduced For Tablets

Samsung has also brought its Galaxy Forever programme to Galaxy tablets for the first time in India. The initiative is available to eligible customers purchasing the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra or Tab S12+ through Samsung Finance+.

Under the two-year programme, customers pay 75 per cent of the tablet’s device price as well as the applicable Galaxy Forever programme fee, spread across 24 EMIs.

The programme will also provide customers with another pathway to purchase a premium Galaxy tablet without incurring the full device cost. The programme offer details (programmes, fees and eligibility) and customers need to check for the financing.

Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra And S12+ Display

Both new tablets have Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Samsung also added Vision Booster for visibility in different lighting conditions.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has the larger 14.6-inch display, which is best for multitasking, entertainment and creative applications. The Galaxy Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch screen and is a smaller display, while still very large for productivity.

The Ultra is just 5.1mm thick while Tab S12+ is 5.3mm thick. Despite their small size, both tablets have large batteries and flagship hardware.

MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Powers Both Tablets

Under the hood, both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The processor is paired with 12GB of RAM across the India configurations mentioned by Samsung.

The combination is built for applications that are demanding, multitasking, gaming and AI technology. In the box the tablets come with an S Pen for handwriting, drawing, editing documents and other productivity tasks.

Both models also have IP68 to protect against dust and water, adding durability for everyday use.

Battery And Camera Specifications

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra packs an 11,600mAh battery, and the Tab S12+ has a 10,600mAh battery. Both have 45W fast charging.

For photography, the Ultra has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP camera. The Tab S12+ has a 13MP rear camera.

While cameras are unlikely to be the main reason consumers buy a flagship tablet, the hardware can be useful for video calls, document scanning, content creation and other everyday tasks.

Android 17 And Galaxy AI Features

The Galaxy Tab S12 series runs Android 17 with Samsung’s One UI 9 interface. AI is another big part of the new tablets, with Samsung adding tools to help with productivity and research.

Note Assist can summarise notes, while Samsung Browser can summarise open tabs and help users identify relevant information while researching online.

Samsung is also offering a six-month trial of Google AI Pro with access to Gemini. Adobe Photoshop comes pre-installed, providing a new tool for photo editing and creative work.
