Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul Accuses Trump of 1993 Rape in Epstein Report

Trump has come under renewed scrutiny after Beatrice Keul, a former Miss Switzerland candidate, said he raped her in 1993. The accusation was raised in an October 26, 2026 report by the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee that examined Trump's links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Keul, a former model from Switzerland, told congressional staff that the alleged assault took place at New York City’s Plaza Hotel during the American Dream Pageant. The White House has denied the allegations, calling the report politically motivated.

What Beatrice Keul Alleged About the 1993 Incident

According to the report, Keul was 24 and working as a model and financial services professional when she attended the American Dream Pageant in November 1993.

She claimed that Trump approached her at a press luncheon and offered to help her obtain a US visa and secure admission to New York University. Epstein approached her at the event and introduced himself as “Don's best friend”.

According to Keul's account, Epstein discussed parties involving Trump and offered to arrange travel and accommodation for a gathering at Mar-a-Lago.

Later that day, Keul claimed, she was invited to a hotel suite where Trump raped her. She described the alleged assault as brutal and said it left her bleeding and bruised.

Keul also claimed that Trump asked her to remain silent after the incident and repeated promises about helping her with her visa and university admission.

These details are drawn from testimony in the committee Democrats’ report and have not been established as facts by a court.

How Jeffrey Epstein Figures in the Allegations

The report explores the relationship between Trump and Epstein in the 1990s, when both moved through social circles connected to modelling agencies, beauty pageants and private parties.

Keul alleged Epstein's introduction and promises of help were part of the circumstances surrounding the encounter. The report also compares her account with allegations by other women who described encounters involving Trump, Epstein or people connected to them.

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee said their report consisted of interviews, survivor accounts, FBI records and documents released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

They called for an independent investigation into Epstein’s associates and the handling of related government records.

But the report was published by Democratic committee staff and contains allegations that have not been independently verified. Its conclusions should not be taken as judicial findings.

White House Denies the Allegations

The White House strongly denied the claims. The claims were untrue, said White House press secretary Lauren Bis, and it was a political attack.

Trump has not been charged with a crime in connection with Keul's allegations. TIME said it was unable to independently verify her account.

Keul had spoken publicly about an alleged sexual assault in 1993 before the new report was published. The new account provides more details about the incident she described to congressional staff.

Calls for Further Investigation

The report has revived the debate about the transparency of Epstein’s investigation and whether authorities should look into the evidence of individuals in Epstein’s social circle.

Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin asked for an independent special counsel to review the allegations and the handling of relevant records and conduct an independent inquiry into the investigation and review of relevant records.

The allegations are contested and any further investigation would have to establish the credibility of the accounts and assess available evidence.

The case shows the continuing public scrutiny of Epstein’s links with prominent figures. At the moment Keul’s claims are allegations, the White House maintains its denial, and the circumstances reported have not yet been resolved through a court finding.
