Students wishing to pursue a career in the teaching field in Karnataka have a fresh chance to get a job in Karnataka. The Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) has called for applications for Guest Lecturers in different Pre-University (PU) Colleges in Mandya district.
The recruitment drive has been initiated to fill up teaching positions in KREIS-run PU colleges for the current academic year. Candidates with appropriate educational qualifications can apply at the colleges directly and submit their applications by August 3.
The vacancies are available in many subjects such as Kannada, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, History, Political Science, Economics and other fields depending on the requirements of individual colleges.
According to officials, the recruitment process was launched in line with the state government’s budget announcement for the academic year in order to enhance teaching staff in residential educational institutions and to ensure continuous academic activity.
The candidates are advised to carry educational certificates, identity proof, experience certificates (if necessary), as well as other documents relevant to these positions while applying.
The Guest Lecturers will be selected based on eligibility, academic qualification, subject requirements, and guidelines provided by KREIS. A variety of colleges can also conduct document verification and/or interviews as part of the selection process.
These are temporary appointments and are intended to remedy faculty shortages in Pre-University Colleges that fall within the KREIS network. But the opportunity provides valuable teaching experience for those aspiring to become lecturers and educators in the education field.
Applicants should verify subject-wise vacancies and eligibility requirements with the colleges before submitting their applications.
The applicants are encouraged not to wait until the last date because applications will be accepted until August 3. Those who meet the criteria should ensure they complete the application process within the deadline.
The recruitment drive will benefit both qualified teaching professionals and students by ensuring adequate faculty strength across residential PU colleges in Mandya district.
