For more iftar get-togethers as well as for days out when the evening falls cooler, Global Village will open its gates every day of the Holy Month at 5:00 PM. Adjusting the timetable:

  • Sunday – Wednesday: 5 PM – 1 AM
  • Thursday thru Saturday: 5 PM – 2 AM

Introducing 'Multaqa Global Village'

At the heart of this season’s festivities is the launch of Multaqa Global Village. The idea for this free-to-access, tent-like gathering space is inspired by the classic Emirati majlis. Set in front of the Main Stage, it has warm floor cushions, festoon lighting and an easygoing atmosphere where families can come to eat at over 250 kiosks scattered across the local area or rent traditional board games once again for a night of fun gone by.

Cultural Festivals and Specials Series Nighttime Entertainment

This month's spirit is set to be epitomized by the curation of live shows. Visitors can enjoy:

  • The Arabian Orchestra: A 25-piece ensemble which plays each day.
  • Live Melodies: You have sets set to Oud, Nay, Harp and Violin.
  • Traditional Shows: Traditional Tannoura dance performances and the daily firing of a Ramadan cannon.
  • Special Events: The Akher Kalam show with Maitha Mohammed (nightly on 11 PM) and a massive Drone Show due the first Friday of Ramadan (February 20).

A shopper’s paradise and Foodie’s Paradise

Global Village, with 30 pavilions representing 90+ cultures, is the ultimate destination for Ramadan and Eid shopping. From original handicrafts and perfumes to exclusive home décor, the park is a treasure trove. For guests who may want to break their fast or enjoy a late suhoor, a wide variety of food can be found throughout the Restaurant Plaza and kiosks along the street.

Wellness: Ramadan Step Challenge

For the health-savvy, the Ramadan Step Challenge returns via the Global Village mobile app. Visitors who walk a certain 10,000 steps all while the park is being explored can earn some thrilling rewards, making the trip a purposeful and engaging experience.
