Tell me the reason... Some questions never die with time.

They don’t grow old. They don’t fade. They won’t.

Instead, they are buried right in the ground of the human heart and wait for the right moment. All they need is a shower of memories to bloom again. An old song... a familiar road... an empty chair... a lingering smell... a rainy evening. That is enough for the heart to stand once more before the same unanswered question.

"Tell me the reason..."

  • Not all pain is created from tears.
  • Some pains are born from silence.

When tears come, the eyes get lighter. But silence settles deep inside the heart like an immovable stone. And as a result of this invisible weight, a person continues to live. They work. They laugh among people. Yet within themselves, the same courtroom convenes every single day.

  • The questions become the judges.
  • The memories become the witnesses.
  • And the heart stands accused.

"What was my mistake?"

"Did I love too little?"

"Was my faith not enough?"

Those who could answer these questions are already gone.

Only silence remains.

Look at nature.

No farewell in nature is ever meaningless.

Before the sun disappears beyond the horizon, it paints the whole sky with shades of amber and gold. Rain leaves only after it leaves the smell of wet earth. The river reaches the sea, but not before breathing life into every land it touches. A falling leaf dances with the wind before giving itself to the earth.

  • Every ending in nature carries a message.
  • Only human beings leave without one.
  • Their silence reverberates in another person's life for years.
  • Hence, a relationship can break down quickly.
  • What truly survives are the unanswered questions left behind.

Time will erase memories, but it won’t erase unanswered questions. So they return every year with different faces.

The human heart is not made of glass.

  • It is made of earth.
  • Broken glass can sometimes be repaired.

But soil prints left behind after wet soil is soaked remain until the rain washes them away.

So it is with words.

The words spoken will eventually fade.

But strangely, it is the words left unsaid that hurt the longest.

"I am leaving."

These four words may break a heart.

But they also allow it to heal, because truth, however painful, is closure.

Silence does not.

When someone leaves without a word, without goodbye, without explanation, the person left behind begins a relentless trial against themselves.

They stand before a mirror searching for flaws.

They doubt the sincerity of their love.

They go back and reread every conversation they have ever had and look for any wounds they may have caused.

In the end, they become both the prisoner and the judge of their own heart.

  • That is the cruelty of silence.
  • The present world is strange.

A person can send thousands of text messages, but they are afraid to say even one honest sentence.

One may have thousands of followers on social media, yet lack the courage to say,

"I have changed."

Most of the time, people find it easier to abandon relationships than to explain them.

  • But silence is never a solution.
  • It transfers pain from one heart to another.
  • Truth is as sharp as a sword.
  • But a sword wounds only once.
  • Silence wounds every single day.

Truth may bring tears.

Silence steals sleep.

Every person that we know is a story.

Some are only the prologue.

Some are the middle chapters.

There are only a few left until the last page.

But no meaningful story should end without its last sentence.

Each reader deserves an ending like any reader deserves an ending...

Every heart deserves the truth.

You may not be in my life forever, you just cannot be.

But do not remain unanswered forever as a question.

If you must leave tears in my eyes, let them be born from truth.

And don’t leave behind an echo of 'Why?' in my soul.

For sorrow with a reason eventually finds peace.

Only sorrow without an answer is reborn with every rain, every sunset, and every lonely night.

And perhaps this is the highest form of humanity—

Even when love can't be,

let respect remain.

Even when two people are not able to walk together,

  • let truth walk beside them.
  • Even when it becomes inevitable,
  • Let there be a reason.

For more painful than goodbye itself...

is the silence that comes before it. Life is a strange journey.

When we travel such long roads, we meet thousands of souls.

Some are like trees by the roadside, providing shade for a while before disappearing into the distance. Some are like the banks of a river, quietly giving direction to its flow. Some look like stars in the night sky—far from our reach, but bright enough to guide us through darkness.

And then there are those rare souls...

They build a home in us.

Their laughter is our sunrise.

Their voice becomes the peace of our evenings.

Their presence quietly becomes the meaning of our existence.

When such people leave without a reason, it is not only the person who disappears.

An entire world collapses within us.

So it is said that time is the greatest healer.

But time does not heal every wound.

Some wounds are only with dust.

One gentle breeze of memory is enough to lift that dust, and suddenly the old pain begins to breathe again.

That is why memories never grow old.

They do not age with us.

A fifty-year-old heart can still weep for a farewell that happened thirty years ago.

An old melody...

A forgotten letter...

A familiar road...

A rainy evening...

These are enough to unlock doors that we thought had been sealed forever.

And there, in the quietest corner of the heart, sits the same question...

"Why did you leave without saying a word?"

Nature has taught us countless lessons.

The river teaches us to keep flowing.

The tree teaches us to keep giving.

The earth teaches us patience.

The sky teaches us vastness.

Yet humanity still struggles to learn one lesson—

How to say goodbye.

Relationships can't be sustained by force.

Love is never a prison.

It is freedom.

You may hold someone's hand.

You can never imprison their soul.

Paths may separate.

Dreams may change.

Destinations might become different.

But humanity should never be left behind.

Sometimes it takes only a single sentence to save another person’s peace.

"I can no longer continue."

"I have changed."

"Forgive me."

Such words can break a heart for a moment.

Silence breaks it every day.

Many people say,

"Silence is also an answer."

No.

Silence is not an answer.

Silence is a question written on another person’s heart.

It is not honesty.

It is unfinished truth.

Speaking honestly requires courage.

Asking forgiveness requires even greater courage.

Remaining silent is easier.

But what is easy is not always what is right.

Pause for a moment.

Perhaps someone is still waiting for one sentence from you.

Perhaps one explanation could stop someone from blaming themselves.

Perhaps one apology could permit someone to love life again.

If your words can become someone's healing...

Why keep them locked inside your heart?

The greatest wealth in life is not money.

Nor fame.

Nor power.

It is known that when someone remembers you, they remember you with respect rather than regret.

We are not destined to remain in everyone's life forever.

But while we are there, let our memory become a tree that offered shade—

not a thorn that continued to wound long after we were gone.

Every ending creates the possibility of another beginning.

Every broken dream makes room for another.

But unanswered questions become walls.

They stand silently between the heart and every new happiness waiting to enter.

That is why farewell is not merely an ending.

It is a responsibility.

Leaving is also a form of humanity.

Life may lead us toward different horizons.

We may no longer be able to love as we once did.

We may no longer be able to walk beside one another.

But no one has the right to leave another heart imprisoned inside unanswered questions.

Look once more at the evening sun. It leaves out of fear of the darkness, because it promises more dawn.

Look at the rain.

Even when it has stopped, the smell of the earth is there.

Look at the birds.

Before they leave the nest, they teach their children how to fly.

Every farewell in nature leaves behind a blessing.

May ours do the same.

If you must leave...

I won’t stand in your way.

I will not question your decision.

But do not close the doors of my heart in silence.

Leave behind one truth.

Leave behind one reason.

Your honesty may fill my eyes with tears...

But your silence will keep my soul weeping for a lifetime.

In the end, life is not just a book.

It is a lamp.

No one knows when its flame will fade.

But until that last moment, its purpose is to give light.

May our relationship be the same.

What matters is not how long they lasted.

What matters is how truthfully they were lived.

For the greatest tragedy is not the end of love.

It is the end of truth.

Goodbye is not the worst sorrow.

The deepest sorrow is the silence that comes before goodbye.

So if you must go...

Go.

But don’t leave winter in my heart.

  • Leave one word.
  • Leave one truth.
  • Leave one reason.

Because tears born of truth eventually dry.

Wounds with a diagnosis become scars.

Farewells with honesty become memories.

But silence without a reason...

A goodbye without a voice...

An unanswered "Why?"

They echo forever through the corridors of the human heart.

And that is where relationships never truly die...

Only one question becomes immortal.

Go, if you must... but leave behind a single truth.

For the pain of farewell fades with time, but an unanswered "Why?" follows a soul for a lifetime.
